João Fachada holds a master’s degree in Economics from the Nova School of Business and Economics. His dissertation focuses on public policy.
Since January, Mr. Fachada is the Economic Advisor of the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate. In this role, he is mainly responsible for international affairs, and institutional and investment relations.
Previously, Mr. Fachada was a consultant in the areas of public sector, smart cities, and digital transformation, and part of the Schuman program at the European Parliament.
