Youqing Ma

Representing the U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC), Ms. Ma leads her bilingual team advising American businesses on market entry strategy, risk, and opportunities in the Portuguese market. She advocates U.S. policies favorable to American commercial interests to the Portuguese Government. Additionally, Ms. Ma assists Portuguese investors in expanding their investment opportunities in America.
Ms. Ma joined the USDOC in 2011. As a commercial officer, she served in Taipei with the American Institute in Taiwan. While at the USDOC headquarters, she worked at the SelectUSA and the National Travel and Tourism Office, focusing on U.S. foreign investment attraction and tourism promotion policies. Most recently, she served as a Commercial Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo.
