Rui Leal, 65 years, was born in Trás os Montes in the Northen Region of Portugal
He is married, has 3 children, and has a Degree in Electrical Engineering – Power Systems (IST)
He started his professional career in EDP where was responsible for the implementation of a distribution substation remote control system in the Southern part of the country.
He joined Siemens in 1988 and was responsible for Industrial Automation Business till 2001. Then he took the responsibility for the Power Transmission and Distribution in 2001 within Siemens Energy Sector.
He is currently responsible for New Business and Sales Head at Smart Infrastructure within Siemens Portugal.
